Probably not.

most recovery CD's will only work in the computer they are designed for.

that said I personally would try it to check for sure.

are you asking this question because the pc has never had a recovery cd ??..have you actually seen one for it ?
many late PCs dont have one anymore, recovery is built in usually booted up by one of the F keys.

Chas my friend has the acer computer,but no disc for it.I dont know if there ever was one for it.
