Will the tech team please remove the attchment pop up ads that have been cunningly concealed amongst the various topics on the site? It is getting ridiculous now, i don't know how the site thinks it is allowed to bombard it's members every few minutes with these ads, but it is obviously another money spinning venture. is this why the site is so slow? These ads are for high street banks and companies, not obscure scams, i am going to start contacting the advertisers and complaining if is carries on.

There's a wee bit that says "Ads by Google" so I don't see the point of contacting the individual companies. Also this is a means of generating income without which we would have to pay for the mice, hamsters and firewood used to power the site...

I know that TCL but there are already loads of ads on here, these pop up behind the window I open for a thread, i have never seen this done before anywhere, it's like by opening a thread we have autotriggered an advert that almost links to the topic of the thread, like the side ads do >>>>>>>>>
Its bloody annoying.
You go off AB only to find a fullpage advert hidden behind it.Its a sure way to pi$$ people off.And it doesent mention google. And dont mention trying to get into AB Yesterday,it was diabolical. It would have been easier to get into Fort Knox..!Im sure they could train Monkeys to do a better job.(:O
Where are these ads then because I can't say I've seen them
Seems they are programmed to pop up when you click any link, TCL, for instance if I were to put a link in this reply of mine and you were to click it, you'd get directed to wherever I linked to but you might also get a pop up ad. It's contemptuous.
they seem to pop up at random, TCL, in the form of a new window - it happens to me once or twice a day but it seems from this post that others suffer more of it. Perhaps my pop-up-blocker is keeping some at bay, though not enough. I don't mind the ads that keep the Editor off the dole; but I don't like pop-ups at all.
I have disabled the ads by using the built in pop-up-blocker in IE.Just go to tools>Pop-up blocker>Pop-up blocker settings and set it to block all pop-ups.
