I bought a digital camera a few months ago, which I'm really happy with, but it's eating up batteries (even Duracell M3s) in no time! Can anyone recommend a good AA battery charger, please? Many thanks.

Hi Nicola, I had the same problem with my Nikon Coolpix camera. The important thing is the batteries you get, rather than the charger. The batteries range from 1300 mAh to 2350 mAh. You need to go for the 2350 mAh otherwise you will find the re-chargeable batteries won't last long. You can get a Uniross charger and 4 AA 2350 batteries from this site. www.batteriesplus.co.uk
I had same problem with my Olympus digital camera. Some of the cheap batteries would go flat just putting the menu on, branded ones may take 1 or 2 pics, and duracell maybe 3 pics. I have a couple of 1000mAh batteries I picked up in poundland (ideal spares), 4 uniross 1700mAh and 4 uniross 2000mAh. The batteries must be Ni-MH, not ni-cd. The charger I got from currys lets you charge batteries at home (via mains) or in the car using the adaptor that goes in the cigar lighter socket.
