Which 'patch to uninstall norton Av'?

Hi, I have recently received the following advise off Answerbank regarding uninstalling Norton:

'I have had success by downloading a free patch that completes the uninstall - just google for 'patch to uninstall norton AV' or similar. It's a little B to get rid of, isn't it! '

I have googled but been spoilt for choice with so called patches - which one is the best/safe to use?

Thank you for your help - I have successfully uninstalled Norton and successfully installed McAfee!
