Can an unlocked mobile phone that has been stolen be traced ? I have the IMEI no of it, but as its unlocked cannot have a block put on it as it was a PAYG origially with Vodafone....any sim could work in it....any ideas ?

I take it its got a contract sim in it now? If it has, phone your provider to put a stop on the sim card. Do that as soon as possible, they'll block it from the minute you call to report it. If you don't you will be charged for any calls made on it (it happened to me, didn't realise phone had been stolen, got the bill in and between me last using it and reporting it, a lovely bill of �350 was run up on it)
With the IMEI your regular payg provider can lock the mobile & transfer any credit to new chip.
