I have just had an email I was sending just vanish off the page.
This has happened before. I hit 'send',and a panel came up-asking if I was sure I wanted to navigate away from the page. Now I have - in the past -clicked on either 'no'or 'close'...and lost my email...tho recently I found that clicking 'close 'was more likely to save the page. I clicked on 'close' this time ...and my carefully written email went up in a puff of smoke. What causes this? I know others who have the same problem.

Below 'send' on hotmail is 'to' in the addressee bar. Since a pop-up asked 'do you want to navigate away' it sounds like the cursor missed the send button.

I hadnt thought of that tambo.....but then surely the problem might be even more common? As I said...another friend has it happen to her frequently. And why would the email stay on the page sometimes...yet at other times just vanish???
It always happens with great long EMs.....and is so frustrating.
write long/important stuff on Word & cut-n-paste.
logical thinking for computers.....they only do one thing at a time (like males). You're multi-tasking your pc hence if email remain on page you haven't sent/closed them before moving elsewhere.

But it is not remaining on page...wish it did!...it is just vanishing into cyberspace....lol
