Opening files .wmz on an Apple Mac computer

I believe Windows media player opens the .wmz extension so I loaded the Mac version from Microsoft.

It installed ok but would not open the .wmz nor even play a track from a normal music CD.

Any ideas?

As far as I know .wmz is just a skin for WMP - it isn't music or anything like that.

Flip4mac is a very good free plug in for Quicktime to play Msoft audio and video
