How do I stop T-Mobile sending me text messages?

It drives me nuts. Sometimes i get 4 or 5 a day, saying 'Want to make your top ups last longer.....etc' They dont give you the option to unsubscribe, and I can't find anywhere on their website where you can cancel it.

You could try my wife's method: she dropped her phone down the toilet,and after that she never got any annoying messages...

...at least, not until I bought her a new one.
