Fake Texts

Can anyone please explain in the simplest terms, what "Fake Text" is? I believe it's some sort of application from Apple for iPhones, but what is the purpose of it?

It is a app for the iPhone, but it is not by Apple, it is from one of the many companys that write for the iPhone.
