i have some babygros all packaged up never opened which i got at christmas and have only just found them!do you think if i took them back to marks and spencer they will give me a credit note?they're such a waste because they dont fit anymore!i dont have a gift receipt either!

you've managed without the pads & money - perhaps a donate same to hospital maternity?
Those sort of things always sell well on eBay too.
Unless they are currently in stock you will only get the end of sale price which is either �1 or �2. Even if you had the receipt there is a time limit of 90 days for returns.If you go to M&S online and put in the T number it will tell you if they are still available which is unlikely I'm afraid. Ethel's idea is a good one or you could keep them for a present for someone in the future.
I dont see why you should not get a credit note especially as they are still packaged.
I once returned a swim suit after 3 months because the elastic went funny and they apologised and said they had been recalled and gave me my money back with a reciept.
If they hesitate ask to speak to the manager.
