App for ipod touch, paid for but no app!

Hi All!
I downloaded an app just now that cost �1.79, unfortunatly the computer crashed mid download. Not a problem I thought as this happened the other day when I was downloading a TV prog and it continued to download when itunes was back up and running.
I have checked the purchase history and and it has been paid for but there is no game in my apps!!! I have checked for available downloads but the game just isn't anywhere to be seen!
I have reported the problem and been reassured that someone will e-mail me back within 24hrs but I just wanted to know if this has happened to anyone on here and what the outcome was? Am I likely to be refunded the money or have I lost �1.79? Hubby is going to kill me as I said I wouldn't download anymore but this time I have nothing to show for it!!!

Did you download from the ipod or your computer? Try opening iTunes on your computer and login. Then check for downloads.

i had a similar problem with a song I downloaded from iTunes that was corrupted and I reported the problem and was refunded.

Meant to say, go to Apps in your iTunes list and then check for downloads.

I downloaded it from my computer but apart from in my purchase history charging me for the download, the app is nowhere to be found! I have been into their FAQ and followed the advice but it just says there is nothing waiting to be downloaded.

You should receive an email from Apple for your purchase. This can sometimes take a few hours to com through. On it there is an option to report a problem. This was the route I used when i got my refund.

I just received an e-mail from them saying that they had reposted it to my account and it was ready to download, just done it and synced it to my ipod! Husbands only going to half kill me now lol

after you have bought the app, sync your ipod and hopfully it will be downloaded.
