My wife has a new Nokia 5800. The phone does not indicate when a new incoming text arrives, but does with a call and email. What setting needs to be changed? Its not on silence etc and all personal profiles have been checked for ring tones. Thank you

Go to menu, settings then tones, scroll down and it should show you what the text alert tone is set at, in your case it is probably on silent
