I have a canon eos d30 (not 30d) digital slr camera, when I put a 16GB flash card in it only reads as 2GB. I read somewhere of some software upgrade you can use to fix this problem but im having trouble finding anything.

Every thing I can find says that 2Gb is the limit as it can only handle FAT 16, this site has all of the comparisons between various models http://photonotes.org/reviews/D30-D60-1D-1Ds/

The only firmware upgrade for the d30 I can find is here http://web.canon.jp/imaging/D30/D30_Firm-e.htm l and it doesn't mention increased capacity cards

Ok thanks iv updated firmware but still same problem il just have to make do untill i can afford to upgrade
