I run Windows XP SP2.
Automatic updates has downloaded the following update:
Security Update for Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0 Service Pack 2 (KB954430)
and keeps nagging me to install it. But every time I try, the installation fails and every time I boot up I get nagged to install it again. So…
a) how do I get it to install correctly?
b) how do I remove the downloaded update?
P.S. why is Windows such a pain in the neck ( or indeed somewhere more painful )
