Hi, I have had Virgin broadband with phone a year now and it was costing 15.50 per month (I never bothererd with T.V as I already had freeview) anyway it has now gone up to 21 per month. I forgot about it was going to go up after 12 months. I rang up accounts and asked why it had gone up and they said 15.50 was for 1 year only. The guy on the phone said he could add the basic T.V package and it would go down to 19 per month. I felt he was trying to rush me with an answer. I said I would need to think about it. Anyway, I rang back and got someone else and she said 19 was for the first month only and it would be then 24 a month. Well I was suspicious when he said he was adding extra things and my bill would go down. Anyone managed to get a new deal from them with a better price?

I was on the 15.50 package, plus 7.95 for 24/7 calls making it up to 23.45.
It went up a couple of months ago, after the 12 month period, by about 5.
Out of the blue I got a call from Virgin telling me I could have a tv package at no extra charge.
It`s the medium tv package, I haven`t set the box up yet, but I think you get more than on freeview.
The only catch was,I had to sign up with them for another 12 months, As I was staying with them anyway, it was ok.
You should be able to get a better deal. I`m only paying 5 more than you will be, and I have the free calls and tv.
