I had a letter from Virgin about a month ago that said my broadband speed was increasing, but my monthly charges weren't. I pay enough as it is, so I hope they stay fixed.

aog - I would visit the websites of the other providers and see what packages they offer which best meets your requirements and the associated prices

I'm stuck with Virgin for now - BT can only offer me broadband speeds up to 2 mbps and I'm not prepared to go back to that.
I'll play the annual haggling game, though, at least that will be free

I really like the Virgin V6 box, much better than the old Tivo. I've got two and I'd be reluctant to give them up
