I have a table, created in Word.

Can I somehow save it in jpeg picture format?

(or as a bmp)

Wait for hoots of laughter if this turns out to be a dumb question.

You could take screen print, paste that into Paint and save it there as a jpeg.

Or, if you have Vista use the sniping tool.
Take a screen grab/screen capture of it? Don't ask me how to on a PC - I use a Mac :-)
That should have read "snipping tool".
the easiest way i can think of is to press the 'Print Screen' button (usually located to the right of the F12 key). then open up Paint, right click and select paste. you will have to crop the image a little but its one way of doing it.

Thank you, guys. Thank you all very much.

I'll give these a go.

I'm running Windows XP Pro, and Word 2007.

I really appreciate you all taking the time to answer.

On Macs- Cmd Shift 3 (entire screen), Cmd Shift 4 (square)
On Windows- Press Alt-PrtSc (Current Window), Press PrintScreen (Entire screen)
if u wanna capture anything on ur screen, try a program. im using PCHand Screen Capture(on windows), it could capture anything on the screen and offers many different capture modes and a build-in editor. i think it is pretty good. see the link below:

on MAC, try Skitch, it has screen capture capabilities and the basic editing features, besides, it also has the ability to annotate and text. see the link:
