I am taking my iBook on several flights during February. Do I have to do anything about disabling the wireless connection? Obviously, I would not try to open Safari or Entourage, but would it still look for connection? My husband has to disconnect his PC wireless but I think the Mac might be different. I would be most grateful for some guidance on this. Many thanks.

Go to the wireless icon in the tool bar at the top of the Desktop window and 'turn Airport off'.

Thank you very much! I really should have thought of that myself, one less thing to worry about now. Happy New Year.
Maybe remove the battery too - in case of any electric interference during the flight?

Thanks, but would I still be able to use it on board if I can plug in to power which I think I can in Club. You can tell I am not very technically minded!
