Also, if you have service pack 2 installed you can view it from the security centre in the control panel.

Go to Start - Help then type in firewall in the search box.

On the start menu click on network connections. Then right click on your internet connection. Go to advanced and you will be asked to select whether or not to turn on the firewall. Hope this helps.
