WiFi won't connect another lapop

New AOL BB service, pleased with ...except, we have failed to manage to get other laptops initiated to be able to use the AOL WiFi Broadband.
Fortunately AOL helpline is cheap but they have eventually told us on two occasions to get in touch with Dell. Dell helpline pricey....any ideas? The other laptop is usually used with an O2 connection at anther address. Are AOL fobbing us off?
