How do you send an email to a group of people but make just each person's name alone appear in the email each person gets in their in-box without seeing the other names?

You need to BCC people I think.
Yes, you need to put the email addresses in the BCC box, not the CC box, this stand for Blind Carbon Copy and means each recipient will only see their name, no-one else's.
You can't. BCC will not display any name but will also not display the recipient's name.

Most people create a dummy address, email that and BCC everyone else.
