Hey there, i was wondering if anyone would know how to fix my mp3 player. It's an Archos 20gb jukebox FM recorder, but that shouldn't matter i dont think, the problem is that sound only comes out of one headphone. It works fine out of the left headphone, but not the right, this is the same for every pair of headphones or speakers i plug in, so it's definatly not a problem with them, and yes i am plugging them in all the way. I emailed the company and they said it would have to be sent off and to return it to where i got it from, but its quite a lot of hassle to go down there and we cant seem to find the reciept, plus we just never get round to doing these kinds of things. Is there anyway i can fix this myself? The warrenty has probably run out already anyway.

It's probably in the headphone jack in the player itself. If you can open it and test it with a multimetre you'd probably locate the problem. Or if it's got a line out, plug it into you hifi using this and see if it works that way.
