Free speech...???

Not on here by the looks of things. There seem to be a lot of people whose first response when they see something they disagree with is to ask for it to be reported and removed from the site. Yes-some arguments may get repetitive and tiresome for those not involved. But there is still the simplest and least aggresive option....and that is to simply opt out of the discussion. Don't stay on a thread and keep arguing..it is pointless.

I for one would much rather have the choice to read something or not...then I can make my mind up based on the evidence at hand.......rather than have someone else try to make it up for me by saying something is a lie,boring,tiresome,incriminating....or whatever other reasons they may have for wanting a thread removed.

We went thru this a month ago when every thread was a target...please let us all read and comment where and when we wish to.

and yesterday you asked that all the arguments stopped so why would you know today want to read it? Maybe there should be an arguing section so they can take their frustrations out there and keep it off good posts :-)

If we all adhered to the rule, that this is a family site, and behaved accordingly there'd be no need for anyone to feel he need to report questions.

Sadly, it apppears, especially on this category, that no one can hold a reasonable discussion without resorting to name calling. Yes those posts should be removed, it's downright embarrassing for a start. What must new users think of us all when they see the arguements?

4get...wanting the arguments to stop is one thing....I would not take the route of removing them as the means to do so. I said I want the choice to read them if I choose to do so.
And to reiterate,Doc...who I like or don't like on this site does not come into it....unlike for some on here. So stop banging on about me and Icey for once.
