A thin pale line has appeared on my laptop screen.
How long before my screen goes completely?

i got the same on my hd tv i needed a new screen fitted

I believe that each line of pixels are independantly switched horizontally and vertically depending on what state is required. As such it may never get any worse if it is only that 1 control voltage line that is affected. Annoying but can you live with it?
