they deserve it ,
revenge is sweet,
There was probably a reason behind his bullying stealing etc, was probably raised in an unfit family, he was a child back then and was probably very unhappy, its a shame he wasnt strong enough to pull himself out of the sorry scenario and has ended up the way he has
Did you go to public school stokemaveric? My experience is that the thick ones tend to get to high positions in Cabinet whereas I just ended up with 14 worthless GCSEs, 7 A levels at grade A1 (under review by the CBI) and extra drill every Thursday.
I have to agree with unhappychick, the fact that he is a drunken tramp suggests his personal life has been less than perfect, he may have been brought up in an abusive household
Hi stokey, probably your first reaction to tell him where to go, I would have done the same, but once you thought about it, you probably felt pity for him, that means you are a decent bloke, if you see him again buy him a cup of tea and a sarnie, he has no life to speak of, you do, don't sink to the level he was years ago.
bullies notoriously have a lousy home life which is why they take it out on everyone else. it's not nice, and it's no excuse but they are generally deep-down unhappy people.

I'd say he just kept spiralling downwards. it's sad. I don't think he got what he deserved, but don't feel too bad about your actions. we don't really stop and help people in the street who are begging. personally I think we just pay for their fags and booze. I'm sure he gets the benefit he's entitled to, but just doesn't manage it well.

stick a fiver in a charity box, and don't worry about it :o)

thanx ray.good advice there m8....................
There were no "ethnic minorities" in my school, nor were there any girls, and bloody good job too.
They absolutely, in no uncertain terms deserve everything they get. It could be fate, an eye for an eye and all that ****. Anyone who has been physically or verbally abused, no matter how long ago it was, never forgets! You are probably a great person. Don't even think on it anymore!!
Ok, so this guy bullied you when you were younger but if he is homeless then he has been lost in the system we call life.
Fcuk him, he's pr1ck, if you gonna give him something then give him a sandwich or a cup of tea if you give him money he'll only waste it.
P.S.
I think I've said my final word on your Thatcher thread, which I really enjoyed.
Well Stokemaveric, perhaps a better way to deal with him, would have been to give him a few minutes of your time, tell him you remember him from school and all the bad things he did to other children there. Then add that had he been a better person then, he might not have ended up in the situation he's now in.
i wish people considered me like that.
Hi stoke mucker
Look how you ended up, a decorated gulf war veteran and look at him.

Now, who's the better man?

You are my friend. You did the right thing mate

Hello lungpoop, good to see you are still hanging on, now did you have to bend over and get caned on the bare buttocks at school because I did and it would do you a power of good too.

hi john, thanx for your kind words m8....and indeed to you all it was certainly a thought provoking moment....oh well life is life i suppose....glad you enoyed the thatcher thread everton123 lol.......
actually, yes, it was a bit nasty of you, though if you personally suffered at his hands you'd hardly feel any other way. You're certainly free to give to tramps or not to (I don't, though I give to charities); but perhaps this would be the time to forgive him his past trespasses? You're not really required to seek revenge for things that happened 20 years ago. I suspect unhappychick's guess at the causes of his past behaviour may well be accurate.
He probably had an unhappy child hood and...boo bloody hoo. I think you did the right thing - and i'd love that chance. Little obnoxious ba$tards make life hell for other 'normal' kids, and much as you'd love instant karma to kick in, it never does.

Good on you.
