hy, i have just bought a laptop also a netgear router all from virgin but i am unable to get the internet , i go through all books and follow them to the tee, but all i get right at the end is looking for wireless connection but thats it, also it says i am not on line, i am off line any body got any idears , i am just a simple old silver serfer, cheers yukka.

you can't setup a router using wireless.

use the cable to connect lappy to router
setup - then connect by wireless (if you must)
