What does it mean when a username is green? That a person is online? And can you delete your questions?

It means that you're new to the site and a signal for the other members to go easy on you if you make a mistake :)

All users are green for the first two weeks of joining.
Did you notice that after you clicked Submit, you were shown lots of similar questions and then asked if you still wanted to post yours? That's so that the same questions don't get asked and answered time after time.
