hmm well personally I am still somewhat sceptical, time will tell whether AB will return to its former glory but just like the previous blogs there have always been promises of regular blogs and ED presence in general, Im feeling that if the situation was so bad for so long surely we would have been informed that the ED was currently ill before now.

I find it hard to believe as well that no one could've posted sooner to let us know - they've just sat back and watched the situation on this site get out of hand, bloody hell, surely the tea boy could've posted to let us know!

I am of course sorry to hear when anyone is ill, but somebody has obviously been at work behind the scenes as we've had AB asks questions.

So there has been no-one in an editorial capacity capable of responding to users' queries. If there not a deputy, qualified for contingency measures ie sickness, holidays, general absenteeism? Well, my particular query with a site problem was directed to the Techie Team - but still no answers. Have they all been long-time incapacitated too? Or have they given up like a number of former AnswerBank users?

Exactly cazzz1975. The AB team should be grateful that we users have kept the site going - albeit in a zig zag fashion on occasions.
