My Windows Update appears to be stuck on 0%. The little icon in the system tray says its downloading and has done for a couple of days now. Any ideas why?

Funny you should say that - mine had been running for a couple of days and stopped dead on 33%. It's not there at all now. This is the first time it's ever happened. I wonder if anyone else is having problems with this latest update?
i have this problem too and the small icon doesnt even come up now!
I believe that Service Pack 2 is being released, which is a fairly large dl and (allegedly) has lots of flaws/incompatibilty problems. Mine came through a couple of days back, and took most of a day on 750Kb/s.

I'm trying Service Pack 2 now, I'll let you know if it fixes it.
As SP2 has just been released - Microsoft's servers probably can't cope with the demand. I'd guess it's a problem at their end rather than something that needs fixing with your PC/connection.

It was SP2, Problem gone. Thanks!
