How do I reactivate my phone ? . It has been unused for almost 12 months. I have charged the battery, when I try to use it, I can dial,but before I get an answer it dies on me

I think it is telling you that you need a new phone
You probably need a new battery, 12 months with no charge isn't good for a battery.

With such an old phone, you might struggle to find a battery for it especially as Nokia have moved onto using smaller batteries.

Try Nokia themselves or a small independent phone shop, or just buy a new phone from somewhere. The cheapest new Nokia is only about �30 anyway.

I bought a couple of 3310 batteries about a year ago from a Street market trader for �5 each. They are higher capacity than the original. The old 3310s are well nigh bulletproof (mine survived flushing down the toilet!) and simple to use. Try Amazon or a computer fair for a replacement and give the new one a 24hour charge. It takes several charges before it reaches top capacity.
