my first film i saw a a youngster was rose maria with jeannette macdonald and nelson eddie first song i remember was THE NIGHT YOU GAVE ME BACK THE RING bet no one on the a/b can go as far back as this

blimey, we used to go to the cinema (Flea pit) such alot, I can;t remember the first time i went, I remember going to see a Tarzan film where he went to New York, about 1964ish, and we sent to see The Incredible Journey when it was forst released.

I can remember going to the local cinema on a Saturday afternoon - it used to cost 6d then. I can't remember what the first film I saw was but I do recall St Trinians films (Alistair Sim) and also my brother being scared of the wicked stepmother in Disney's Snow White. That would have been in the early 60s.
