My problem lies with the pc hanging when I try to delete my Autocomplete History on the Tool Option. When only escape is to close down IE 6 via Cont, Alt & Del; even then the Autocomplete still holds all the information that was there previously. How can I cure this problem?

Tools menu, Options, Content, click AutoComplete button and then there is the option to 'clear forms'
There is a tool here: http://www.handyarchive.com/Internet/Security/444-4t-Explore r-Sweeper.html but I have never used it and cannot vouch for it. Before installing it, make sure your firewall and anti-virus apps are up to date. If using Windows XP Pro, use System Restore to create a Restore Point before you start.
if that is sweeper by emery it's a great app.
