Mmmm chocolate

I have a pack if yummy cream eggs sat staring at me , asking ...nay ...pleading to be eaten . However , I have got 2 annoying , very inconvenient mouth ulcers stopping me from eating , and barring me totally from chocolate ! :-(

Oh mamma, I was just about to PM you as I hadn't seen you post for a day or two, and wanted to make sure you were OK! Do you know, mouth ulcers are just a pain in the ar$e! I am quite prone to them, and I know how you feel: mine can last a couple of weeks, so it makes it hard to eat and drink doesn't it!

How are you otherwise? How is Porsche? And your damp? Erm, in the house, I meant....xx

Can't you just put a bit in and suck slowly (as the bishop said to the actress). Chocolate shouldn't affect a mouth ulcer that badly. I understand your pain though cos I love chocolate . Mmmmm

i also have ulcers and also had creme eggs but sod it i have eaten them, ulcer ot not they were so lovely

Jillius makes a fair point-you could go for the portion approach to your chocolate-break it into manageable chunks! ;)

I say, go for it! once the initial pain is there you may as well just carry on!
i have a habit of biting the side of my mouth and getting big ulcers! Have you ever tried Anbesol for them? Its great, way better than bongella.

I will go for the gargle idea mccfluff . I will also go for the ..bite the bullet and eat it quick ..idea . I do so like to take my time and slowly lick the cream out the middle first but no hope , bit by bit , managable chunks it is.
Leelapops hun , not sure why she threw up but it may have been a rawhide chew she had .

mccfluff, that's really funny! I might just employ that strategy for my next one! Salt water is REALLY good. Does sting, and can make you gag, but it works.

unruly, I once told my friend I was using Anbesol for my mouth ulcers, and she asked, "Isn't that for Piles?"!
I think it's really good: I was using Bonjela 'til recently, but when someone recommended Anbesol, I really felt the difference! It's so powerful-I can't feel my mouth for an hour after applying it!

Thankyou jules , I do have Anbesol but have a laugh trying to get it to stay on the ulcers .I manage to get it in a blob but then manage to find copious amounts of spit washing it right down my finger !

Oh mamma, that must be sheer torture, you'll need to scoop out the centre with a spoon and lick the rest lol
