I have a Sony Bravia digital tv
A Panasonic HDD DVD recorder. with digital tuner
A Sky digibox (not Sky +)
I do NOT have Freeview reception in my area.
I want to be able to connect all 3 together so that I can record onto the DVD whilst watching another programme (if possible).
All 3 have 2 scart connections.
Any and all help gratefully received before I tear what is left of my hair out!

Follow this diagram, but replace the video with the dvd recorder:

ahhh I use HDMI leads from DVD and HDD recorder to Video / Audio Amplifier. and from Sky I use Co-ax cable to Amp and then do any upscaling needed direct to the Sony LCD with 1 hdmi lead.

Lovely setup and very little clutter.
