I have recently had Adware/Spyware attach itself to my PC and my internetsecurity supplier cannot deal with it. Can anyone recommend a free/paying download site that can deal with it. I have downloaded Spybot but it is showing that there is no threats. But Bullguard is showing threats and infected files and pop-ups are appearing all the time.

Thanks

Ad-Aware often picks up things which SpyBot fails to identify. (In fairness to the developers of SpyBot, I should state that the opposite is also true):

Try Avast antivirus, it's free. You will start with a 60 day trial then you will be E-mailed a license key for a permanent installation. All other antivirus programs should be uninstalled before using Avast. Avast will find problems then give you options for dealing with the problem such as deleting or moving to an isolated virus chest.
the free downloads never seem to cover everything, I use windows "onecare" 26 a year - download is free try it out and pay after 60 days - its as good as any - gives a daily report etc
