whats the best free to use spyware removal tool on the internet to download i use adware and spybot that has not got rid of the crap cheers

I use adaware and spybot too and i have no problems. How do you know there is still crap on your computer and what kind of crap is it ?

Those are the best. Hijackthis is good as a last resort but it is not automatic and doesn't come with Janet and John instructions.

Microsofts Defender is pretty good. Use as many of them as possible as none of them pick up everything as standalone solutions.

I know someone who used to work for norton AV, after he quit he said he would never trust a pay to use anti-virus/spyware tool ever. he said that people who write these anti spyware programs also sell the spyware to advertising agencys that backdoors them.

well, at least someones making money out of the whole fiasco.

You need to start the computer in Safe Mode to get rid of some spyware / adware.

Restart the computer and tap the F8 key on your keyboard until an alternate menu appears. Then select 'Safe Mode'. Run SpyBot and AdAware while in Safe Mode and the programs should be able to dig out the malware. Also, make sure both programs have been updated before you scan.
