I have bought a digiframe for a Christmas pressie and a mini SD (1gb) to go in it.
However, each time I try and copy pix to it on my lap top it tells me it is 'write protected' and that I must remove this protection. Can anyone tell me how I do this?

Has it got a small sliding switch on the side of the card?

You need to slide this open, because this switch is what you protect your files from accidently being erased with.

Thanks for that but the switch slides to loc when you put it in the drive! I wonder if it's a faulty disc?
You can try using a small piece of tape to stick it on unlock.
