man in woolworths said that they would have a delivery on the 8th, and that there would be plenty all over the country. there's plenty on e-bay, selling for the same price as the gaming shops ( plus postage ). we got one today from a small gaming shop who had been waiting for a delivery, so looks like the shortage is over.

No it's not true that Nintendo aren't producing more.

The problem, or so they claim, is that they are having trouble keeping up with the global demand that even they hadn't predicted.

Either that or they're making it up and it's just a cynical ploy to increase demand.
