Belkin router problem

I tried running the setup disk, but half way through it asks to reboot and says installation will continue after the reboot. Installation does not, however, continue,also my laptop wont let me access the router setup page,it worked fine on my laptop before i had 2 send laptop back 2 manufactures an they put new motherboard in and hard drive.im on vista home basic any ideas any1? TIA

No idea but i wonder if its a regular thing with Belkin routers and i could never get the software to work on any of our computers we have windows xp, so now i just have to settle for an open wireless connection unless i can figure out how to secure it!
I had the same trouble with my belkin router with my new laptop. It would not recognise it. (Vista). Anyway i took the whole lot back to pc world and they changed the router for
me no problem they could not fathom out what the trouble was either!!
Does it ask you to reboot because you have changed the username/password?

Thanx 4 ya replies guys i avent changed any passwords on it etc so think i will take it back to comet and get a change of router and see how that goes.
