Freeview Box

our daughters freeview box will not switch on. it has the red power light but when she tries to switch it on either with the remote or the on/off button it will just not work. any ideas what could be wrong ? TIA

Sometimes..... and only sometimes....... if you disconnect the box from the mains - wait a few seconds and reconnect - the machine will "reset"..worth a shot :-)

Sorry.... sounds like it might be "deceased"...... an "ex-freeview box"

decided to go for sky+ and multiroom instead of new freeview box.

We had a problem with a Panasonic Freeview box which would not respond but I suspect it was the hand control on ours that had become faulty. I bought a new Freeview box from Asda for less than the cost of a new Panasonic control. This was installed without any problem and works perfectly
