Is LAME MP3 encoder [libmp3lame � win � 3.97.zip] compatible as it says it's for Audacity 1.2.6, when our version of Audacity is 1.2.4? This 1.2.4 version is installed onto our PC and is the one that came with the hardware.

Why not just upgrade your Audacity to 1.2.6 - it's free.
