Can I burn various files onto a recordable cd (not re-recordable), view this cd on another computer and be able to 're-save' the files off of the cd and onto the harddrive of the 2nd computer?! Thanks!

You should be able to just copy the files from the CD to wherever you want them on the other computer.
Yes. Once files are burnt to a CR-R you can put that CD-R into any computer and select the files and copy and paste to any drive. You cannot remove the files - only copy them.
