Hi.
I am trying to copy a lot of photos from my computer to a new Tesco 1GB SD memory card, for use on a digital picture frame. However, whenever I try to 'send' the photos to 'removeable disk G' it tells me the disk is write protected. I have pushed the little 'unlock' switch on the SD card to open, but this seems to make no difference.
Help!!

The frame is for my husband to take to Iraq tomorrow, so fast responses would be very gratefully receieved!

Thanks in advance for your response!

Desperate measures are you are in such a hurry, so a couple of very quick things to try.

Toggle the switch a little way so is more or less half way between the two 'proper' positions.

Has this worked?

If not, try putting a small piece of selotape over the lock area

Any good?.

also check the spec for the card reader ....if you are using one
(the clue is in the name ....)
some models don't have the write pin enabled
and so can't write to cards

if the picture frame has it's own feed ...just ignore me ;-)
good luck on the trip also - heads up
See if you can format the card.
