printer stuck in a moment

y printer keeps churning out test print pages, what should I check? Fitted a new ink cartridge & since then have only managed to print one page....... that appeared unexpectedly the next day when it had been switched back on. Print queue is waiting... have cleared that & tried again & now run out of knowledge , any ideas please?

Remove the lead from your pc after clearing all print queue. Turn off printer power, remove all paper and then just turn the power back on the printer - nothing else. If and when it stops making noises reconnect everything.

Have you got a virus? I had one a few years ago and it played havoc with my printer, just as you are experiencing. ( i had norton anti virus too!!)
