MSN problem?

Msn has stopped poppin me 2 let me know when i av recieved an email or 1 of my pals has just logged on or off,has any1 got any idea wot this problem is an how i sort it? thanks in advance guys

Maximize the window go to tools - options - allerts and sounds and check the settings there
