There are some great broadband providers out there. One place to look at is an independent forum called thinkbroadband (just google it). You can peek at the various forums and get an idea as to people's satisfaction, whilst bearing in mind of course that people tend to frequent these places only when they have a problem.

Having said that, I spent several years with Eclipse, and they were ok, but the Customer Service is hopeless, you can spend months trying to sort things out, but if you have no need to contact them, then they can be fine.

However, I have now moved to an Entanet reseller and am very happy. It was a breeze, they send you an email with ALL the details you need, the transfer took place exactly when they said it would (ok, that's largely down to BT), and you get a great control panel showing you your download quotas/remaining etc. You get web-space, email, all the usual stuff, for a good price (around 16 per month).

Check them out, ADSL24 are particularly impressive.
