my friend has a old pc,he has bought a external high speed hub,because he cannot update usb to usb2,does he need 2 buy a internal usb2 card because the pc will not connect 2 the wireless router,which is high speed

The speed issue shouldn't really be a problem.

However, you may like to know that for the system to run at 'high speed usb', all items must be 'high speed'.

ie the usb ports at the back of the pc??
You are right ... you need to add a USB2 pci card to the PC.

..... Just one question though which operating system?
If you are using windows 98 just make sure that there are 98 drivers included.

If 95 ... you could have problems - unless you can find a second hand card
