I keep getting a warning about spyware telling me i could b at risk and that i should visit their website (spw3) and i also get the same type of box telling my about adult websites...is there anyway i can stop receiving this?? and what this spyware is??

you need to turn off windows messenger, its in control panel I think. Its the thing you use to IM people
To be honest with you, them sort of warning boxes are a load of rubbish, just some people trying to generate hits and/or money. If you download Zonelabs' free firewall from http://download.zonelabs.com/bin/free/1012_zl/zlsS
etup_45_538.exe
and take the time to configure it through their easy to use wizards, you will find that all off these pop-ups will stop. Happy pop-up free surfing!!
