I used to use Publisher quite a lot and have recently changed computers and need to get another package, is there any other type of publishing package anyone could recommend please?

Serif offer some good basic software at low prices.

They also offer some of their older releases for free, including PagePlus their "publisher" like program.

You can download PagePlus, and some of their other software FOR FREE, from this site.
