Battery for a digital camera

I have a digital camera, about two years old, cost over 200, but the battery no longer holds its charge long enough to take more than a couple of photos. Where can I get a new battery for it? The three specialist camera shops I have visited say that it is obsolete now and they can't (or wont) get me a new battery. I am cross because while two years might be a reasonable life-expectancy for a battery, if the batteries are no longer available, then it means that my 200 camera is no longer any use.
Has anyone got any bright ideas?

Thank you both. I have looked at the sites suggested, and they both appear to have the battery I need, so I will be ordering one very soon.

Many thanks again for your help.
